Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Radiology CWR

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday, On Call required, no weekends or holidays

Guaranteed Hours : 40

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care facility required

License : NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS required

Must-Have : Experience covering CAT Scan and Ultrasound procedures

Job Description :

• Deliver nursing practices according to the most up-to-date evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care.
• Ensure safe and excellent delivery of individualized patient care.
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients assigned through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Initiate assessment based on patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
• Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and / or clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments / data collection independently in a systematic manner, focusing on physiological, psychological, and cognitive status.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patients.
• Identify variables in patient / family education needs based on age, disease, and culturally specific learning differences.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
