Automation Technician (2nd & 3rd Shift)

Our client, an established international manufacturer based in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking skilled Automation Technicians to support their 2nd and 3rd shift operations. Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and develop robot and automation programs across a variety of equipment.
• Modify existing programs on controlled machines, including robots, lasers, welders, benders, and presses.
• Install and service electro-mechanical and electronic test and production equipment.
• Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate diagnostics and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety protocols during maintenance and installation.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on program development and equipment upgrades.
• Report maintenance activities and equipment performance to support accurate asset tracking.
