What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidents. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity within the healthcare location. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or hazards according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols. Assist with access control procedures for visitors, staff, and contractors as required by site policy. Support emergency response activities as needed, including providing information and assistance to emergency personnel. Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter disruptive and / or prohibited behavior. Minimum Requirements : Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
