Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, Robert Half, is seeking a UX Designer to join our product team on a contract basis. This hybrid role is based in Charlotte, NC and will require regular in-person collaboration with design and engineering teams. The ideal candidate is an expert in Figma, highly collaborative, and experienced in delivering intuitive, high-impact UX for web and product experiences, particularly in automotive and e-commerce domains.

This role will work within a tight-knit design team, directly bridging to front-end development, ensuring pixel-perfect execution of design intent and preparing production-ready assets. You'll play a critical role in shaping user experiences that are elegant, functional, and performant across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Marketing to define and implement innovative UX solutions
• Use Figma as your primary design tool for wireframes, high-fidelity comps, design systems, and interactive prototypes
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure design feasibility and fidelity during implementation
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive design specifications and assets to engineering teams
• Participate in regular design reviews, sprint planning, and engineering hand-offs
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and conduct user research or usability testing when needed
• Contribute to and help maintain our design system and UX documentation
• Bring product ideas to life through rapid prototyping and iteration
• Balance strategic thinking with detailed design execution across mobile and desktop platforms
