PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES : The Data Analyst / Database Specialist supports the data and reporting needs of a large membership organization, using technologies like UnionWare, Excel, Microsoft Power BI, and SharePoint. The role is critical for tracking and analyzing membership data to support union campaigns.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and analyze reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI.
• Ensure data integrity through knowledge of relational databases, normalization, and performance tuning.
• Train staff on software tools (UnionWare, Microsoft Office) with tailored delivery approaches.
• Provide basic IT support (desktop troubleshooting, remote assistance, software installation)when needed.
• Collaborate with departments, translating user needs into technical solutions (reports,spreadsheets, dashboards).
• Document and improve information workflows across the organization.

SALARY AND BENEFITS : The current salary range is $76,054.18 $124,917.00 and is based on qualifications and experience. SEIU Local 1021 offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package. Including fully employer-paid family health coverage (including domestic partners), life insurance, a defined-benefit pension plan, 401(k) plan, and generous paid leave time.
