Position Summary : The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to residents, helping them regain independence in activities of daily living and functional mobility.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide direct patient care as outlined in the treatment plan developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Assist in the implementation of treatment goals and plans
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist
• Accurately document treatments and patient responses using facility systems (e.g., Casamba, PointClickCare)
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy goals and home exercise programs
• Participate in team meetings, care planning, and discharge planning as needed
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and policies
