Minimum Job Requirements

Job Duties and Responsibilities

This position operates independently under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. They are authorized to make product and machine design decisions that impact manufacturability, efficiency, and safety of a product. This position works with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, tooling, and automation) to ensure design practicality and compliance. Expected to identify and implement improvements with minimal supervision.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

o Proficient in SolidWorks for designing and modifying complex parts, assemblies, and detailed drawings.

o Experience with :

o Proficient in writing and troubleshooting :

o Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety risk assessments.

o Sheet metal fabrication

o Manual mill and lathe operations

o Welding processes (including fiber laser)

o Electrical wiring and panel building

o Air / hydraulic systems

o Use of ERP / MRP software systems

o Measurement instruments and Quality Assurance practices
