Patient Care Technician (PCT)
Job Summary A Patient Care Technician is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities Basic Patient Care : Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Patient Observation : Observe patients' progress and prepare reports for nursing staff.
Vital Signs and Specimens : Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required.
BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.
Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Equivalency.
Completion of High School PCT competencies.
Certification as a PCT (Certified Care Technician) or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).
