Senior Director AI Services
Role Summary
RightSeat Client is hiring a Senior Director to lead and grow its AI and Emerging Tech Practice. This strategic role reports directly to the CEO and COO / CFO and is ideal for a creative problem solver with deep experience in AI services, business development, and client delivery. The Director will oversee strategic partnerships, manage P&L, and deliver elite AI trust services across national security, global operations, and workforce transformation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow the AI and technology business, including strategic planning and business development roadmaps.
- Manage profit and loss for the AI practice.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships and hire top-tier talent.
- Ensure the successful delivery of existing contracts and follow-on engagements.
- Lead client engagements focused on AI trust, safety, and risk mitigation.
- Cultivate deep technical expertise in AI safety and related solutions.
- Represent RightSeat Client in high-impact engagements across government, academia, and industry.
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for Agency Public Trust clearance.Bachelor's degree + 7 years experience OR Master's degree + 5 years' experience.Minimum 5–6 years of AI experience, including multiple project cycles and 3–4 years of applied AI / ML in production or research environments.Proven experience managing P&L and leading a fast-paced, growing business.Strong business development skills : partnerships, proposals, networking.Exceptional communication skills : executive briefings, slide decks, guidance documents.
Self-starter with excellent time management and initiative.Ability to rapidly upskill in technical domains and lead diverse teams.Nice To Have
Familiarity with AI safety and national security landscapes.Consulting experience, especially in federal proposal writing.Fluency in the language of top AI firms and mission-driven organizations.Clearance through the U.S. government.
