Schedule : Sunday thru Thursday night   10 p.m. – 6 a.m.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Floor Technician to join our environmental services team. The Floor Tech is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of all flooring surfaces throughout the facility. This role plays a vital part in creating a welcoming and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Clean, strip, wax, buff, and polish floors according to facility standards.

Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums safely and efficiently.

Maintain carpeted areas through vacuuming, shampooing, and spot cleaning.

Assist housekeeping staff with general cleaning duties when needed.

Follow infection control, safety, and OSHA guidelines at all times.

Report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and equipment is maintained.

Qualifications

Previous floor care or housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus).

Ability to operate floor care machinery.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Dependable, with good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to lift, push, or move up to [X lbs] as needed.
