Set-Up Technician - 3rd Shift

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Lead Manufacturing Supervisor, the Set-Up Technician is responsible for using tools & overhead cranes to complete mold changes, rehangs, as well as pull molds for repairs and conversions. The Set-Up Techs will follow all set-up procedures and make sure they leave the area neat, clean, and organized. This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications and supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.

Essential Functions

• Proper installation and watering of all molds on all presses.
• Housekeeping, including return of unused supplies and auxiliary equipment to appropriate locations.
• Removal of all parts from previous job(s).
• Proper tying up of water lines so that they do not rub / burst.
• Proper shutdown of machines, including the use of the correct purge compound
• Assist in maintaining HellermannTyton's certifications by supporting : Corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.
