The George Washington University Hospital ’s Medical-Surgical Rehabilitation Department is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our acute care rehab team full-time in order to support the therapy needs of patients in the Emergency Department.  GW Hospital is a 385 bed Level 1 Trauma Center, Academic Medical Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center located in the heart of Washington, DC.  GW offers clinical expertise and world-class care in a variety of areas including cardiac, cancer, neuroscience, critical care, trauma, women’s health, organ and tissue transplant, and advanced surgical techniques. Our medical-surgical rehabilitation professionals work in every area of the hospital providing consultation, evaluation, treatment, and education services to patients, families, and other caregivers in order to improve patient function, outcomes, and discharge.
