About The Position

- About this Position Position / Specialty : X-Ray Tech Daily Caseload per tech : Varies Shift : Will work 3x12 Hrs, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday 12AM-1230PM, with holidays as needed
- The first week of contract, the traveler may work during the week on day shift for orientation. Then, set schedule will begin the following week
- Is on-call REQ? Call rotation : 3-4 days / month. Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required Floating Req to Sister Facilities : No Required / Preferred Years of experience REQ : 1yr First-timers accepted : Yes, travel experience preferred Experience Required : O / C-Arm experience Certs / Lic Required : BLS Certification / Licenses accepted : ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R) Radiation Badge REQ : Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Misc. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions : All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours : Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Hospital Highlights Type of Facility : Teaching Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma : Magnet, Teaching and Level 1 Trauma Total Staffed Beds : 865 Scrub Color : Teal Top / Black Bottoms Charting : Epic Parking Cost : Nights and weekends only. One time payment of $20 for a parking pass.
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
