The Obstetrics Family Medicine Physician position in Kossuth County, IA offers a full-time role in a busy practice with a supportive medical community. Candidates must be Board Eligible or Board Certified, skilled in performing C-sections, and able to provide full-spectrum family medicine in a critical access hospital setting. Our client in Kossuth County, IA is in need of a Obstetrics Family Medicine Physician for a full-time assignment!

Job details :

  • Start - ASAP
  • Candidates must be Board Eligible (with plans to become BC within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine OB Fellowship-trained (fellowship must be completed prior to start).
  • Must be able to perform C-sections
  • Busy practice with instant volume
  • Join 8 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Call for OB / Hospitalist 1 : 9; call for C-sections 1 : 3
  • Full spectrum family medicine including surgical obstetrics, ER, and hospitalist
  • Specialists available including Cardiology, Urology, GI, ENT, Ortho, etc.
  • Lab, x-ray, sleep, MRI, CT, mammography, nuclear med, PT, RT, OT, and ER all on site
  • 25-bed critical access hospital and primary care clinic
  • Affiliate of MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center and regional referral teaching center
  • Regional health system covering 14 counties, includes MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota
  • Service area approximately 260,000

Job Requirements :

  • Board Eligible (within 3 years of eligibility, with plans to become BC within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine - REQUIRED
  • IA license or IMLC (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • OB Fellowship-trained (to be completed prior to start) - REQUIRED
  • Provider is able and interested in doing C-sections (state interest in "Additional Submission Details" field) - REQUIRED
