A Pipefitter Helper will assist the Journeyman Pipefitter to fabricate pipe. Also, is able to identify and assist in the installation of above / underground piping, hangers, supports, valves, and heavy wall specialties.
- Level IV : Competent to complete Journeyman level Pipe Fitter tasks with minimal supervision.
Overview of Primary Duties
Assists Journeyman by performing the simpler and more routine duties of the craft.Follow detailed instructions on new work assignments.Closely reviews work while tasks are being learned.Assist with laying out, fabricates, assembles, installs and maintains piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water fixtures and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling and production and processing systems.Demonstrate Yates Core Values and PrinciplesFollow Yates Code of ConductSafety Responsibilities and ExpectationsResponsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work by the established Yates Safety Procedures and Work Practices

Thirty-six (36) + months of heavy industrial-related pipefitting experienceOther verified experiences or certifications with pipefitting experienceLevel III :
Twenty-four (24) to thirty-five (35) months of heavy industrial-related pipefitting experienceLevel II :
Twelve (12) to twenty-three (23) months of heavy industrial-related pipefitting experienceLevel I :
Zero (0) to eleven (11) months of heavy industrial-related pipefitting experienceOne (1) year of industrial experienceRequirements
