This leader will oversee profit and loss (P&L), growth, technical execution, staffing, and product lifecycle management across a team developing advanced command-and-control (C2), sensor integration, and digital modernization solutions for the U.S. Navy and allied maritime customers.

This position represents an exciting opportunity to evolve Leidos' support to the maritime domain from traditional program delivery to a product-based model-delivering modular, scalable, and interoperable systems aligned to the Navy's vision for Distributed Maritime Operations (DMO) and cJADC2.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Operate in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment; demonstrate thought leadership, strategic agility, and a bias for action in achieving results.
  • Develop and execute business strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth and align with organizational objectives within the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Communicate effectively and strategically with leadership, employees, peers, and customers to ensure transparency, alignment, and shared understanding of goals, risks, and outcomes.
  • Provide direct guidance and oversight to program and project managers to ensure technical, managerial, and business objectives are achieved across the portfolio.
  • Engage directly with customers to build trusted relationships, identify emerging mission needs, and ensure delivery excellence and satisfaction.
  • Lead with a focus on team cohesion, collaboration, and a positive, high-performance culture that reflects Leidos' values and commitment to innovation.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional efforts across departments and subsidiaries to maximize mission and business outcomes.
  • Travel as required to support personnel engagements, customer relationships, and program execution activities.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree preferred. (Four additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
  • Demonstrated success leading large, complex programs or portfolios with full P&L accountability.
  • Strong strategic communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills-able to influence and align diverse stakeholders including executives, technical teams, and customers.
  • Proven ability to analyze, solve, and execute complex technical and business challenges while instilling confidence among customers, staff, and senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience interviewing, hiring, staffing, and developing multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Final Secret clearance and eligibility for Top Secret clearance.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Customer relationships and operational understanding for future Naval operations within the cJADC2 and multi-domain concepts of operations.
  • Prior experience in product management or product line ownership, driving roadmap execution and lifecycle performance for mission or enterprise software / hardware products.
  • Master's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
  • Prior experience leading programs or portfolios within Command and Control (C2), Battle Management, Mission Support, and / or Digital Modernization environments.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively across DoD, Intelligence Community, and international customer organizations.
  • Demonstrated success by capturing and executing large, complex programs and achieving growth targets through business development and strategic planning.
  • Experience integrating engineering, digital, and operational disciplines to deliver end-to-end mission solutions.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM), EVMS compliance, and financial performance management.
  • Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, contract types, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization, building collaboration across divisions and functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor emerging leaders while fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and innovation.
  • Direct P&L responsibility >
  • $90M / Annually
