Infusion Pharmacist Home Infusion (Direct Hire)

Location : Montgomery, AL

Setting : Home Infusion Pharmacy

Schedule : Monday Friday | 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM | No Weekends

Start Date : ASAP

A leading home infusion pharmacy in the Montgomery, AL area is seeking a dedicated Infusion Pharmacist for a full-time, direct hire opportunity . This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, strong clinical involvement, and full benefits starting on day one . The pharmacist will be an integral part of the care team, focusing on patient care coordination, IV medication management, and home therapy support.

Key Responsibilities

Assess therapy appropriateness and monitor patient progress

Verify, pound, and dispense IV medications and supplies

Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and document interventions

Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and equipment

Maintain pliance with USP

, state, and federal regulations

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff

Oversee pharmacy technicians and ensure workflow efficiency

Participate in on-call rotation and interdisciplinary care planning

Utilize CareTend for pharmacy operations

Ideal Candidate

Active Alabama Pharmacist License (or eligible for reciprocity)

Minimum 2 years acute care or 1 year home infusion experience

Strong IV admixture and sterile pounding background
