Exciting 2-year development opportunity to work for a global leader dedicated to helping people see brilliantly. The largest device company in the world - with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care - is hiring a Laboratory Technician to join their team!

Schedule : M-F 8a-5p with some flexibility

Location : Duluth, GA

Pay : $21-$23 / hr

Job Duties :

Works following laboratory and chemical safety guidelines and escalates safety-related issues.

Proactiveness in staying productive and takes initiative in looking for ways to contribute between tasks or studies.

Communicates to the team immediately when process or quality issues are encountered.

Asks questions to understand the manufacturing process and takes feedback on potential improvements from the team.

Performs record keeping duties in conformance Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to meet quality and accuracy requirements.

Requirements :

Bachelors of Science Degree Preferred in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or other life sciences

1-2 years of professional laboratory experience

Previous experience working within GMP manufacturing (Biotechnology, Medical device, or Pharmaceuticals)
