Job Title : Trim Supervisor

Reports To : Processing Manager

Salary Range : $25.00 - $27.00 / hour

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM

Job Overview :

Artemis CoPack is a 67,000 sq. ft. cannabis co-packing and processing facility located in Lower Lake, CA. Our Processing department specializes in large-scale drying and trimming, pre-roll production, and automated packaging for some of the top brands in California. The Trim Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing the post-harvest trimming operations for the company, and will be responsible for managing direct staff and FLC labor, coordinating trim production runs, and maintaining the highest quality standards for finished products. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who understands both manual and automated trimming operations, and the importance of consistent QA / QC.

Responsibilities :

Operations & Production Management

Supervise and coordinate all trimming operations using manual and automated equipment (knock boxes, Mobius trimmers, sorters, etc.)
Schedule and manage trimming runs to meet production goals and delivery timelines
Oversee material staging, labeling, and inventory tracking in METRC in accordance with DCC regulations
Monitor product quality, minimize loss, and maintain consistent outputs
Track yields, waste, and labor efficiency daily; submit digital production logs to management

Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Perform daily QA / QC checks on trimmed material to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company and client specifications

Work with the Compliance department to document corrective actions for any contamination or compliance issues

Maintain detailed logs for every batch, including weights, run times, equipment settings, and visual grades

Team Leadership & Training

Supervise trim team members and ensure adherence to company SOPs and safety standards

Conduct new hire training on equipment operation, proper PPE usage, and other operational SOPs

Set daily production goals, monitor performance, and provide feedback to staff

Qualifications :

Must be 21 years of age or older (as per legal requirements)

Must be able to pass a Live Scan and criminal background check

Spanish language proficiency a plus

2+ years of experience in cannabis trimming, processing, or manufacturing; supervisory experience strongly preferred

High school diploma or equivalent

Familiarity with manual and automated trimming processes and equipment (knock boxes, Mobius, GreenBroz, Twister, etc.)

Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance (METRC) is highly desirable

Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy

Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment

Willingness to learn and understand new processes

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Manual dexterity for trimming production and packaging tasks

Cannabis and cannabis particulate is a known allergen. You will be exposed to environments with a high concentration of airborne particulate matter. This position is not recommended for individuals with asthma, or a known sensitivity / allergy to cannabis

Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
