Job description

Jim Drury Construction is seeking a Full Time Carpenter to assist in the completion of various construction projects with year-round work.

Starting Pay : $22 - $30 per hour, based on experience

Job Tasks :

  • Framing - wood and metal stud framing
  • Concrete - footings, foundations, small patches and repairs
  • Tile - occasionally set or repair floor and wall tile
  • Operate Machinery - move or set materials as needed to assist with construction
  • Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings

Requirements :

  • Experience in commercial construction is preferred
  • Valid driver's license

    • Other :

  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week, year round
  • Typical start time is from 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 00 PM
  • Applicants must be able to reach, stretch, bend, stoop, squat, turn, climb, kneel, push, pull, sit, lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
