Job descriptionHave electrical and controls drawings skills Have experience with industrial power systems (Including Field start-up and commissioning) Have AutoCAD experience Have PLC programming experience Solid Works experience is a plus Possess ability to effectively present technical information and respond to questions Have power and logic skills (QMSI will teach its unique controls systems and software.) Have interest in a long-term home with QMSI in LaVergne, TN (a suburb of Nashville) Employ best practices for existing and new projects Able to work directly with customers during project development, deployment, and support Able to work in a self-directed manner to plan, manage, and accomplish multiple tasks and assignments to meet required deadlines Able to work in a team and understand the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication Employ strong hands-on expertise Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Able to effectively present technical information and respond to questions Able to work outside normal working hours (including weekends) when necessary to meet schedules and / or to install modifications to online production facilities Able to thrive on the frequent travel required for project work including remote installations PLEASE APPLY TO BE CONSIDERED

Develop machine controls for industrial automation. Control systems will be highly integrated with manufacturing execution systems. Work includes automated pharmacies, first tier automotive manufacturing plants, process control, and packaging systems.
