Clinton City Schools is seeking three dedicated and passionate elementary classroom interim teachers to join our team in the second semester of the 2025-26 school year. This position involves creating a dynamic, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that supports students' academic, social, and emotional development. The positions are slated to begin between January and early March through the remainder of the school year.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective lessons aligned with the Tennessee state standards and district expectations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Use diverse teaching strategies to address various learning styles and needs.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations and feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
- Incorporate technology to exchange instruction and engage learners
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
- Implement classroom management strategies that promote respect and responsibility
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.Valid teaching license or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee.Strong knowledge of K-6 curriculum and instructional strategies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
