Position Title: Resource Teacher
Location: St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church
Status: Schedule may be full-time (5 days per week) or part-time (minimum 2–3 days per week). We are seeking someone who is available to start immediately and is intended to support students through the remainder of the current academic year.
The Resource Teacher at St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church supports students with diverse learning needs within parish educational and faith formation programs. Rooted in the mission of the Catholic Church, the Resource Teacher collaborates with teachers, catechists, families, and parish staff to promote academic growth, inclusion, and spiritual development in a faith-filled environment.
Provide individualized or small-group instructional support to students with learning differences
Develop and implement appropriate learning accommodations and support plans
Collaborate with teachers and catechists to adapt instruction and materials
Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student needs and progress
Integrate Catholic values and teachings into instructional practices
Participate in parish meetings, training, and professional development
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Knowledge of differentiated and inclusive instructional practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Practicing Catholic preferred, in accordance with parish policy
Classroom and parish-based settings across multiple age groups
Compliance with diocesan Safe Environment training and background checks
