Summary

Redwire Space Mission LLC in Jacksonville, FL has a current opportunity for a Contractor - Electrical Engineer for up to 6 months. This is a hands-on, circuit design role for a wide range of customers ranging from commercial CubeSats, larger GEO spacecraft, moon shot missions, and beyond. We are looking for someone that has a wide range of experience in PCA and PCB design, mentoring junior engineers, and planning for future projects with management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design, build, and test of space-based electronics for multiple projects. Proving out a design using simulation and mathematics.
• Collaborating design with Software, Mechanical and Operations to bring a product from concept to production.
• Act as an engineering team lead on small to medium sized projects.
• Serve as a mentor to engineering design team.
• Assist with developing architecture solutions with Systems Engineering and Program Management and other functional groups.
• Assisting with new business development efforts by interfacing with customers and business unit teams.
