Chief Medical Officer - Primary Care

We’re looking for a

Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Primary Care —a hands-on physician leader who can improve systems, guide providers, and strengthen equitable care across our network.

333 Valencia St, San Francisco, CA, 94102

SCHEDULE / SHIFT :

Monday-Friday 8 : 00 a.m.-5 : 00 p.m.

What You’ll Do

Supervise and support Primary Care medical directors and providers

Shape system-wide standards, workflows, and policies

Lead quality improvement initiatives and apply

LEAN management

Represent Primary Care in high-level negotiations and system committees

Maintain a small patient panel to stay connected to the front line

What We’re Looking For

Leadership experience in primary care, especially in safety-net or diverse settings

Expertise in evidence-based care, complex patient management, and efficiency

Knowledge of healthcare finance and operations

Strong communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving

Deep commitment to health equity and anti-racist care delivery
