Job description

Staff Management Group is seeking a Material Handler for our client in Edison, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule :

  • 1st Shift : 7AM - 3 : 30PM
  • Monday - Friday
  • Plus overtime

Pay Rate :

  • $18.54 / hour

    • Job Summary :

    Were hiring Material Handlers to support daily warehouse operations by picking, packing, and labeling products in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented and dependable individuals who thrive on staying productive and organized.

    Job Responsibilities :

  • Pick items from inventory shelves according to order slips or pick lists.
  • Pack and label products accurately and securely for shipment.
  • Ensure all packaging meets company standards and customer specifications.
  • Organize finished goods in the appropriate staging or shipping areas.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper handling and labeling.
  • Support other warehouse functions as assigned by supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
  • Meet daily productivity and quality goals.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

    • Job Requirements :

  • MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
  • Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and take direction.
