$4,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible new part-time and full-time employees joining UW Medicine

The Harborview Medical Center Pharmacy Department is looking for an outstanding Pharmacy Technician 2 - Purchasing Float to join our Pharmacy Purchasing team !

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-Time / 40 hours per week

Rotating / Variable Shift

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Work within the Pharmacy Purchasing Team on pharmaceutical purchasing

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Order, receive and deliver drugs and supplies from all vendors. Review invoice receipts and packing slips from all vendors.

Order, receive and maintain inventory level of unit dose items from commercial re-packagers

Process orders sent to Pharmacy Purchasing from clinics and departments

Order material supplies and IV solutions from Workday

Perform drug borrow / loan with other hospitals in the area. Create and maintain borrow / loan documentation.

Maintains adequate inventory of pharmaceuticals for UW Medicine. Coordinate the movement of stock items when drugs are in short supply

Provide Saturday purchasing coverage, working as the only purchasing personnel on duty

Perform the duties of a Purchasing Pharmacy Technician I

Travel and work at multiple pharmacy sites as needed by the schedule

Strong candidates will have three (3) years of Pharmacy purchasing or equivalent experience.

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Six months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician 1 OR equivalent education / experience.

LEGAL REQUIREMENT State of Washington Pharmacy Technician certification.

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum : $60,000.00 annual

Pay Range Maximum : $94,020.00 annual

Other Compensation :

$4,000 Sign-On Bonus Night Shift Premium - $2.75 / hour; Evening Shift Premium - $2.00 / hour; Weekend Shift Premium - $2.50 / hour
