  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1930 - $2070 per week\n

  • Location : Ranson, WV 25438 (West Virginia healthcare jobs)\n
  • Facility Setting : SCU / Telemetry Unit (10 beds : 5 ICU & 5 Telemetry)\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 8 / 2025 – End : 2 / 7 / 2026)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7pm – 7am), full-time (36 hours / week)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Weekend / Holiday : Rotating weekends and holidays (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule)\n
  • Charting System : Epic EMR\n

    • \n\nICU RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (West Virginia or compact state)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience\n
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)\n
  • PALS certification preferred; NIHSS certification a plus\n
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills\n
  • Ability to float to MedSurg as needed\n
  • Travel nurses must provide neat, navy blue scrubs\n

    • \n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality critical care to ICU and telemetry patients, including trauma, respiratory, and post-surgical cases\n
  • Monitor and manage patients on ventilators, Bipap, Cpap, and high-flow oxygen\n
  • Administer cardiac drips and medications per physician orders\n
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, residents, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team\n
  • Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR\n
  • Participate in unit orientation and adapt to unit needs, including floating to MedSurg\n
  • Maintain professional appearance and adhere to hospital policies\n
