About The Role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will serve as a cornerstone of the executive leadership team, guiding the financial health and strategic direction of a complex, project‑driven enterprise. Scope Of Impact
Shape the company’s financial vision by setting capital allocation priorities, defining margin targets, and aligning strategies with growth ambitions.
Translate complex financial data into clear insights that guide executive decisions, board discussions, and long‑term planning.
Build a forward‑looking financial model that supports multiple projects, incorporating scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to anticipate market shifts.
Lead the finance function end‑to‑end, ensuring accurate accounting operations, reliable reporting, and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
Modernize systems and controls, introducing ERP and BI tools that deliver real‑time visibility into project and enterprise performance.
Monitor project economics through cost‑to‑complete forecasts, margin analysis, and profitability reporting, surfacing risks early and driving corrective action.
Safeguard liquidity and working capital, balancing day‑to‑day operational needs with long‑term investment priorities.
Cultivate strong external partnerships with lenders, auditors, insurers, and sureties, preparing high‑quality financial packages that reinforce confidence in the business.
Anticipate risks and design mitigation strategies that protect both financial and operational outcomes.
Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing finance team, creating clear career paths and accountability structures.
Champion a culture of transparency and financial literacy, empowering leaders across operations, estimating, procurement, and HR to make smarter, data‑driven decisions.
What We’d Like
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
Extensive experience leading finance functions in complex organizations, with a proven progression into executive leadership.
Background in project‑based industries (contracting, engineering, services, or related sectors) strongly preferred.
Expertise in GAAP, project accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting for complex, multi‑project environments.
Proficiency with ERP and financial systems common to project‑driven organizations.
