Manager - Strategic Account Management

Data Ventures exists to unlock the full value of Walmart's data by developing and productizing B2B data initiatives that empower merchants and suppliers to make better, faster decisions for the business. We are seeking a customer-centric, analytical, and highly motivated individual to join our Product Success Team. The Research Manager is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with assigned accounts to drive a high level of customer satisfaction, successful product use, and customer retention. You will serve as the primary research point of contact focused on understanding customer success criteria, addressing questions, resolving issues, and serving as a trusted advisor. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record providing primary research expertise, account management, and outstanding communication skills.

What you'll do :

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with assigned accounts, help them with issues, and continually delight them with a positive, customer-centric attitude. Provide proactive strategy with their assigned customer account lead.
  • Serve as product ambassador, keen on educating prospects and customers on the use and benefits of our product.
  • Consult on quantitative & qualitative survey submissions to ensure Best Practices are followed and data insights gleamed are sound.
  • Review the customer journey, determine how it's supported, and use a consultative approach to help clients overcome issues and achieve their goals.
  • Be the client advocate by identifying product updates that reflect customer requests, industry, market, and competitor trends.
  • Develop and share best practices with team members to continually improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our processes.
  • Efficiently manage time to focus on essential activities to ensure customer satisfaction, account renewal, and account growth.

Who you are :

  • Highly motivated, self-directed and possess a driven personality capability of working within tight deadlines.
  • You are able and nimble and can work in a "start-up" like environment embedded within our large Walmart international corporation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong client service orientation.
  • Data savvy with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Passionate about technology, marketing, market research, and consumer insights.
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • 3+ years of market research experience.
  • 3+ years of customer success and / or client-facing experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and phone communication skills with the ability to adapt conversations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; specifically, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with online data collection tools (e.g. Qualtrics, Decipher, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SPSS and / or other quantitative reporting tools desirable.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Leading cross-functional teams, Master's degree in business, marketing and sales, healthcare, or related area.
