Registered nurses will be responsible for monitoring and assessing patients' vital signs and clinical status. Nurses will administer medications and treatments as prescribed. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care. Providing education and support to patients and families is essential. The role includes participating in end-of-life care and organ donation processes. Nurses will use specialized equipment such as IV pumps and ventilators. The unit sees a variety of patient diagnoses, including respiratory failure, cardiac issues, and multi-organ failure. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Floating within the service line will occur as needed. Travelers must have required certifications before starting. No more than 7 days of requested time off is allowed per 13-week contract.
