Warehouse Associate (Multiple Shifts)

Onsite (Monday-Friday) Hanover Park, IL Apex Systems, the Nation's 2nd largest Technical Staffing and Services Firm, has multiple openings for Warehouse Associate for an IT Services company in Hanover for a 6-month contract plus extensions and ability to convert to full time employment.

Schedule & Shifts : Monday Friday Shift : 1st 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30PM Shift : 2nd 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM Shift : 3rd 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM Shift : 4th 10 : 30 PM - 6 : 00 AM Weekend : 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00pm (Saturday and Sunday) Overtime is mandatory during high volume business periods. Light Industrial / Warehouse environment.

As a Warehouse Associate with Apex, you will ensure all incoming products are received, picked, packed, and quality checked with accuracy and efficiency. We will count on you to be knowledgeable of warehouse and safety procedures, possess computer experience, and be able to work in a team-oriented environment.

As a Warehouse Associate you will get to : Verify contents of shipment compared to shipping documents while noting any discrepancies or damage. Operate computer terminal to enter receipts and printer to print labels. Pick outbound orders using RF scanners, verifying quantity and correct product. Select the right size of boxes and pack the product, send boxes onto the conveyor line to be quality checked in the upper mezzanine. We are looking for a Warehouse Associate with : High School Education or equivalent with at least 6 months of warehouse experience and knowledge of shipping, warehouse, and safety procedures and some computer experience. Ability to multitask and strong organization and time management skills. Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints in a timely manner. Capability to use RF technology.
