Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with a NJ Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT Mammography certification for day shift assignments.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a dedicated mammography unit within a hospital setting
  • Day shifts are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • No weekend or floating requirements
  • Responsibilities include screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic breast biopsy, and DEXA scans
  • Work with HOLOGIC mammography and DEXA scan equipment
  • Uses Syngo Radiology Information System for charting
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this role
  • Maximum of 5-7 days requested time off can be approved prior to assignment
  • Any color scrubs may be worn
  • Modules are required and are completed during orientation
  • Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility will receive a local pay rate
  • Former permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this position

  • Active NJ Radiologic Technologist License required (pending license acceptable)
  • ARRT Mammography certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year mammography experience preferred
  • Ability to perform screening / diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic breast biopsy, and DEXA scans
