A medical based company is looking to fill a 3 month contract to hire Pharmacy Technician position in Pine Brook, NJ, 07058.

Pay rate : $22 / hr (Paid weekly)

Hours : (6am – 2 : 30pm) This position is full-time (40 hours / week) Monday – Friday.

Job description :

Properly packs product as required by Standard Operating Procedures Prepares palletized shipments for carrier pickup Ensures all production supplies are fully stocked at all times Create or fix any shipping labels as needed Bring packages to shipping, Mail, and Courier as needed Receiving of various goods throughout the day Learn functions related to commercial courier and shipping system Ensure adequate stock of gel packs (ice and ambient) for appropriate packaging of daily shipments Empties trash as needed this candidate will be more involved with material handling duties than packing medications. It is a tough job involving use of pallet jacks for moving pallets in and out of trucks and around the floor. Additionally there is a lot of handling of 45 pound boxes of ice gel packs. Looking for someone who really likes that type of work. Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to move boxes and other materials while bending and stretching Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Primary Responsibilities :

Follows SOPs to properly pack products and prepare palletized shipments for carrier pickup

Creates or updates shipping labels and delivers packages to shipping, mail, or courier services

Receives incoming goods and maintains stock of shipping and production supplies

Manages inventory of gel packs (ice and ambient) for daily shipments

• Assists with trash removal and general warehouse upkeep

Required Qualifications :

High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks

Perfered Qualifications :

Pharmacy / prescription data entry experience

Soft Skills :

Good verbal and written communication skills

Strong teamwork and cooperation skills
