Medical Search Is in need of a Pediatric Surgeon for weekends!

Excellent Compensation!

• 3 weekends a month; Friday to Sunday 7a-7a,
• 24 hr shifts 9 shifts a month
• 12 / 1 - 3 / 1
• Board Certified or Board Eligible - REQUIRED
• Pediatric Surgery Fellowship - REQUIRED
• Covid Vaccination - REQUIRED
• Flu vaccination - REQUIRED
• Ohio State License
• Practice Setting : Level 1 trauma center. No clinic.
• Schedule : 7am-7am
• Call Schedule : Friday to Sunday
• Call Ratio : 3 weekends a month
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day : 1-3
• Annual ER Volume : 80,000 sick and injured kids every year
• Documentation System / EMR : Epic
• Number of Operating Rooms : 9
• Number of General Surgeons in Practice : 4
• Description of OR Staff : Fully staffed with pediatric anesthesiologists
• Patient Age Demographic : 1-21 years old
• Procedures required : general surgical pediatric, neonatal and trauma cases, chest wall / pleural procedures, central line insertion, chest tube insertion
• Additional procedures : Atresias - Esophageal, Atresias - Intestinal, Atresias - Biliary, Abdominal Wall Defects - Gastroschisis, Umbilical Defects - Omphalocele, Umbilical Defects - Hernia, Imperforate Anus
