Patient ratio experience of 4 : 1.

Familiarity with the Epic charting system preferred.

Description :

The Emergency Room unit handles a wide range of diagnoses, including hypertension, diabetes, congestive heart failure, end-stage renal disease, coronary artery disease, abdominal pain, STEMI / NSTEMI, pulmonary embolism, COPD, and behavioral health issues.

Weekend coverage is required, every other weekend.

There is no call requirement for this position.

Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required as needed.

The average patient ratio is 4 : 1.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.

Daily census in the unit is approximately 150 patients.

The unit has 34 rooms available for patient care.

Travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period, with specific guidelines on holiday work requirements.

Compliance with all requirements is essential for timely onboarding.

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
