Senior Embedded Software Engineer
Onsite in Orlando, FL or Taunton, MA
Contract Position
Pay Estimated : $50-$65 / Hour
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)
As a software engineer for the Training Technologies group, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, implementing and integrating hardware and embedded software in critical mission training devices to make the world's most advanced military live training systems even smarter!
Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and integrate embedded software and hardware systems in support of mission-critical military training devices.
- Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from concept through deployment, in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Drive firmware development on real-time embedded processors using platforms such as SEGGER Embedded Studio.
- Integrate and optimize solutions for Nordic and NXP SoCs, as well as Android-based environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring knowledge sharing and development best practices.
- Apply and promote industry standards, technical methodologies, and innovative solutions to solve complex design challenges.
- Partner with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless integration across the platform.
Qualifications :
U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal LawBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline, with 8+ years of relevant experience(or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience)
Strong proficiency in C and C++ for embedded systemsDeep experience in real-time firmware development and embedded SDKsFamiliarity with SEGGER Embedded Studio or similar development environmentsExperience with Nordic Semiconductor and NXP System-on-Chips (SoCs)Android development experience is a plusPrior experience leading or mentoring engineering teamsAgile development experience preferredMoseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA / EEO / Veterans / Disabled Employer.
