Description

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse for a reputable 700-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in New York, NY.

This contract position offers the opportunity to work all shifts, including day, evening, and night.

The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term and short-term patient care, with a focus on maintaining a safe and effective environment.

Requirements

Valid NYS Professional Licensed Practical Nurse License.

At least 6 months of nursing home experience.

Experience with NYS DOH and Joint Commission standards.

Knowledge of MDS and PRI processes preferred.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

Proficiency in documentation and computer applications.

Qualifications

BSN preferred.

Service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in clinical, email, and office applications.
