Job descriptionWe are seeking a proactive and technically strong Electrical Engineer to join our humanoid robot manufacturing team. This role focuses on the development, optimization, and support of electrical manufacturing processes, including electrical integration, test systems, and automated equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical systems manufacturing, hands-on experience with PLC programming, and a proven track record in managing projects and collaborating with equipment integrators to bring scalable production solutions to life. Develop, implement, and refine electrical assembly and testing processes for humanoid robotic systems. Collaborate with design engineering to ensure electrical components, PCBs, wiring harnesses, sensors, and control systems are optimized for manufacturability and efficient integration. Design and support PLC-controlled equipment, automated test stations, and end-of-line validation systems for electrical components and subsystems. Work cross-functionally to plan and execute new product introductions (NPI) from prototype to full-scale production. Coordinate with external equipment integrators for design, sourcing, commissioning, and validation of automated test and assembly systems. Develop and maintain electrical process documentation, including wiring diagrams, test protocols, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure electrical safety compliance across the production line, including proper grounding, shielding, and ESD-safe practices. Lead technical project management efforts for manufacturing process improvements, test system builds, and line scaling activities. Support production by diagnosing and resolving electrical integration and test issues in real-time. Identify opportunities for process automation and implement data-driven improvements in electrical test throughput and accuracy. Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in electrical manufacturing or test engineering in robotics, electronics, or advanced hardware environments. Strong understanding of electrical assemblies, PCB manufacturing, wiring harnessing, and embedded system integration. Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, etc.). Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and automated test rigs. Experience reading and creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical work instructions. Familiarity with electrical CAD software (Altium, OrCAD, or similar). Demonstrated ability to manage technical projects and coordinate with external vendors. Strong problem-solving abilities and technical documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications : Experience in building or scaling electromechanical systems, particularly in robotics or high-reliability applications. Background in end-of-line testing, firmware loading, and test automation. Exposure to lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and electrical FMEA. Knowledge of MES systems, industrial communication protocols, and digital factory tools. Compensation : We provide market standard benefits (health, vision, dental, 401k, etc.). Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
