• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
• 1+ years of public accounting experience in Audit
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
• Exceptional experience with Microsoft Office, including :
• Excel
• (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
• Word
• Quick learner and self-starter; able to identify when to ask questions or seek additional understanding of procedures
• Ability to work independently as well as in a small-team environment
• Experience serving as “in-charge” on engagements is a plus
• Ability to adhere to deadlines and time budgets, including working overtime when necessary
• In-depth knowledge of auditing standards and auditing techniques
• Strong understanding of materiality, performance materiality, and trivial amount thresholds , including their application
• Working knowledge of CCH ProSystem FX Engagement software and Knowledge Coach is a plus
