About the Clinician's Workday

The assignment starts on 12 / 01 and is expected to last 6-12 months, with 120 days required for privileging. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m., and may include weekday call, with weekend call required every 5-7 weekends (Friday 5 : 00 p.m. to Monday 7 : 00 a.m.). The scope of practice includes general anesthesia for GI, orthopedic, GYN, L&D, and minor trauma cases, with a key need for OBGYN coverage and call on both weekdays and weekends. Candidates must be located within 20 minutes of the hospital and hold an active NY license.
