Per Diem Bus Driver

This position is responsible for the transport of students, trustees, etc. in a safe and pleasant manner. This person must be available for call-ins.This position has been evaluated for compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and is subject to premium pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a payroll week.

Salary / Rate : $20 per hour

Requirements :

• High school diploma
• Prior driver experience preferred
• Must have a clean NYS Driver's License, CDL-C w / Passenger endorsement required, obtained for at least one year
• Must have a cell phone and be ableto read maps, navigate, and work a flexible schedule

Physical Environment :

Personal Protective Equipment must be worn when required. A respiratory function test and the ability to use respirators may be required. Stairs and uneven surfaces may be present; At1ificial lis, etc. may or may not be available. The position may require the incumbent to walk outdoors in al I types of weather to other buildings or offices located on the campus : The Campus is located in an area that contains numerous hills and slopes and may not always be fully accessible for mobility impaired individuals.
