Contract Early Childhood Physical Therapist - PT

Come join our team through this fantastic opportunity to work with the three-to-five population in the Portland area, in the East Multnomah County area. We are seeking a Physical Therapist to work with children in early intervention / early childhood and are interviewing now for a maternity leave position for November to April! Full-time Physical Therapist for kiddos three to five years old in daycare, preschool, and home settings

This is a full-time position for 37.5 hours per week

PT will start in November

Explore the nearby scenic wonders, less than an hour to the beach, mountains, or progressive large cities.

Schedule is Monday through Friday 8 a.M. To 3 : 30 p.M.

Qualifications : You will need to hold an appropriate degree in Physical Therapy, and a current state license (or be eligible for same), as well as your own transportation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assessment of children' s motor abilities in natural and educational settings
• Development of individualized intervention plans to support physical development
• Therapy implementation to address areas of weakness and improve functional mobility
• Environmental modifications to enhance children' s participation in educational activities
• Parent / Caregiver education to support carryover of motor skills at home
