Job Description Are you a dynamic educator, passionate about equipping young people with the life skills they need to thrive in today’s complex society?

We’re hiring for a freelance Subject Matter Expert Writer with a background in teaching Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) to middle and / or high school students.

The ideal candidate will be well versed in the field of Family and Consumer Sciences, with knowledge in :

• Relationships, communication, and conflict resolution Caring for children and child development Designing personal living spaces Basic sewing skills, clothing selection, and care Health, nutrition, and wellness Food selection and preparation Career exploration and personal development Candidates must have teaching experience at the middle school or high school level, preferably in Oklahoma, and be able to write in an engaging and conversational style appropriate for 13–17-year-olds.   eDynamic Learning courses equip students with the foundational knowledge for a variety of opportunities immediately upon high school graduation.
• High School courses are two-semesters, with 8 units of study each, and work is expected to begin immediately.
• As part of the hiring process, potential candidates may be invited to participate in a paid audition to demonstrate their ability to understand and meet standards, as well as write material at an appropriate level and in an engaging manner.   eDynamic Learning is the largest publisher of elective and CTE educational resources for 6 th -12 th grades in North America.
• Share your knowledge and passion for the subject with students from coast-to-coast.
• Responsibilities Candidates must have and be familiar with Microsoft Word and willing to work in dropbox.
