Overview : Join a dynamic team providing advanced life support services in a busy pediatric emergency department within a vibrant metropolitan region of the Southeastern United States. This full-time evening role involves delivering expert patient care and transportation duties authorized by EMT-P certification, supporting emergency, non-emergency, and long-distance medical transport.
Responsibilities : Perform rescue operations independently or with a crew, accurately document patient care and billing information, and maintain compliance with established protocols. Work under the guidance of shift supervisors and training officers to meet demanding performance standards.
Education & Certifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (may be completed during orientation)
- Obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire
- Obtain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within six months of hire
- Completion of NIMS 100, 200, and 700 courses required
- Valid state driver's license with at least three years of licensed driving experience
Experience
Preferred minimum of one year field EMS, rescue, or related experienceExperience with advanced life support services highly desirableRequirements & Skills
