Job Title
General Duties
Manage production planning, including job scheduling and overtime prioritization.
Execute and follow through on action items and strategic plans.
Support and assist the Inspection Operations Supervisor in daily responsibilities.
Serve as acting supervisor during the Inspection Operations Supervisor's absence.
Ensure availability and compliance with all necessary work instructions, procedures, and specifications.
Maintain accurate inspection, storage, and location records for all materials.
Report non-compliance or procedural deviations to the Inspection Operations Supervisor.
Coordinate inspections, services, and repairs to support on-time job completion.
Interface with customers to coordinate job specifications and timelines.
Order parts and general supplies for UT / EMI equipment and department needs.
Initiate and complete paperwork for all inspection orders.
Finalize and verify reports and documentation for all Inspection Units.
Work variable schedules as required by Inspection Department operations.
Facility-Specific Duties
Ensure each inspection station meets operational efficiency and production quotas.
Confirm all station leads are adhering to Tuboscope SOPs and QMS Procedures.
Assign duties to plant leads and shift operators.
Develop and monitor critical control points to maintain process and product quality.
Conduct regular quality checks throughout production runs.
Communicate operational updates and issues to the Inspection Operations Supervisor.
Immediately report production line interruptions or irregularities to the Inspection Operations Supervisor.
Comply with HSE and all safety protocols.
Daily safety toolbox meetings and ensure all employees have proper PPE and hand tools as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Familiarity with inspection equipment and processes essential to produce a finished product.
Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with employees and customers.
Computer literacy required for documentation and scheduling systems.
Physical capability to perform duties for 812 hours daily.
Strong understanding of shop processes and workflow.
