Director of Environmental, Health & Safety

Job Description

Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in manufacturing construction chemicals and building materials - including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. We are currently seeking a Director of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to lead our EHS strategy across MAPEI Corporation. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to drive regulatory compliance, safety culture, and sustainability excellence within a global chemical manufacturing organization. The Director will partner with senior leadership, site leaders, and regulatory agencies to build a best-in-class EHS framework that supports operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Compliance

• Establish and execute the EHS strategic roadmap for manufacturing operations across the organization in partnership with the Director of Operations N.A.
• Serve as the principal liaison with regulatory bodies (OSHA, EPA, DHS, and state agencies), ensuring compliance and proactive engagement.
• Provide executive-level guidance on emerging regulatory trends, risk mitigation strategies, and operational impacts in an industrial environment.
