Teacher Assistant

Saint Mary School is seeking a caring enthusiastic Preschool Aide to support our early childhood program. The ideal candidate loves working with young children understands developmentally appropriate practice and brings warmth patience and professionalism to the classroom each position supports two preschool learning environments and assists teachers in creating safe joyful hands-on experiences aligned with early learning best practices. The PK Aide plays an essential role in helping every child feel seen loved and heard within our faith-filled school lead teachers in supervising children and facilitating classroom with learning centers play-based activities and small-group or individual maintain a clean organized and developmentally appropriate classroom positively with children using warm responsive socialemotional development through modeling redirection and co-regulation with transitions bathroom routines arrival / dismissal snack and outdoor with teachers to ensure consistency and communication across the PK the mission and Catholic identity of Saint Mary : Experience working with young children (PKgrade 1 preferred)Warm patient flexible team-oriented dispositionAbility to follow routines and support a structured developmentally appropriate classroomPreferred : Coursework or certification in Early Childhood EducationExperience in a preschool or child care settingFamiliarity with early learning standards (RIELDS) or NAEYC-aligned practicesInterested candidates should submit a current resume and cover letter to Mrs. Erin Clark Principal Saint Mary School ()
