Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time Occupational Therapy position offers the opportunity to work primarily with elementary-aged students, with a small number of secondary students, in a supportive school environment located in Rockford, IL. The role supports student participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care skills. This year-long contract runs from August 2025 through May 2026, with paid orientation sessions prior to the school year start.
Key responsibilities include :
- Ensuring students can engage confidently and independently alongside their peers
- Modifying tasks and environments to acmodate individual student needs
- Conducting diagnostic and evaluation testing as needed
- Providing clear, prehensive reports based on assessments and observations
- Developing and maintaining IEP objectives and acmodations
- Collaborating closely with parents, teachers, and team members to support student developmental progress
Qualifications :
