Strategic Design and Experience Lead

Plateau GRP is seeking a visionary and execution-focused Strategic Design and Experience Lead (SDEL) to serve as the projects primary design thought partner and customer experience strategist. This role bridges Outreach and Engagement initiatives and IT Cybersecurity and Data efforts driving innovation in how information services and experiences are delivered to the military community.

The SDEL will lead human-centered design efforts guide creative and brand strategy interpret customer feedback and user insights and enable modern accessible and data-informed customer experiences across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary design and experience strategist
• Drive innovation across O&E and IT / Cyber / Data domains to enhance service delivery.
• Lead human-centered design initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Interpret and apply customer feedback behavioral data and user insights to inform design strategy.
• Develop and implement creative and brand strategies that resonate with military community users.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g. Section 508 WCAG).
• Oversee UI / UX testing evaluation and optimization across web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with senior leadership PMs and product owners to align design vision with strategic objectives.
